Privacy Policy — SAM for Strava

SAM for Strava is a personal, non-commercial browser extension. Your privacy is fully respected: the extension collects no personal data, sends nothing to any external server, and includes no analytics or tracking of any kind.

What the extension accesses

Everything happens locally in your own browser. The extension never transmits data anywhere.

What the extension does NOT do

❌ Does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to any external server
❌ Does not use analytics, telemetry, or tracking
❌ Does not store your Strava password or any authentication token
❌ Does not share or sell any data to third parties
❌ Does not use data for advertising, credit, or lending purposes

Permissions explained

cookies — reads the Strava login cookie locally to confirm you're signed in
storage — saves your action history and preferences on your device only
scripting / activeTab — runs the extension's logic on strava.com pages
downloads — lets you download your lists and history as CSV files
host permission (strava.com) — the extension only operates on strava.com

Data retention & deletion

All data (action history, preferences) lives only in your browser's local storage. You can delete it any time:

Use the Clear history button in the extension's History tab, or
Remove the extension, which clears all its local storage

Third parties

The extension interacts only with strava.com, using your own existing session. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Strava, Inc. "Strava" is a registered trademark of Strava, Inc.
